Do English Unis care about SQA Higher grades?
Do English Unis care about Higher grades or predicted Advanced Higher grades or both?
And do they care whether the grade is A1 or A2?
Also if I was to get a B at Higher but predicted an A for Advanced Higher for a subject, would I still have a chance for top English Unis?

SQA entry requirements are usually either specific AH grades with some minimum Highers grades, or a combination of AH and Highers for total UCAS points.
Look on the entry requirements for each course on each Uni website, and the SQA requirements will usually be listed below the A levels, BTECs etc - just scroll down. If it isn't clear exactly what is required, then just email that Uni and ask.
