Yes, I got 8 (eng lang) 7 (maths) 76 (science) 6 (geo) 6 (design) 3 (art) 3 (French), and managed to get A*A*A in my year 12 mocks, with the same grades in my year 13 mocks, 4 offers from Russell group unis to study law (Notts, Leeds, Exeter, Newcastle) even with failing 2 GCSES.

You will need to put in a lot of effort during a levels, start revision in year 12, treat every exam or mock like its the real thing, get good work experience and extra curriculars for your personal statement that are related to the course you want to study and all should be fine

Hey @rahimz!

It's definitely possible to improve your grades at A-Level; after all, lots of students may struggle with some GCSE subjects (e.g. Maths/Languages) whilst excelling at others (e.g. English/Geography/Science). Having the opportunity to reduce your subject selection down to your three/four strongest subjects at A-Level can often lead to higher results overall.

Try to use this time to improve your overall exam technique (revision timetabling/exam timing), and familiarise yourself with the GCSE-level content of any subjects you intend to keep on at A-Level.

Hope this helped and best of luck with your exams,
Eve (Kingston Rep).
