What's the best pen you've ever used? In terms of writing experience, lifespan, design, etc..

I think the best pen is the pens that are from china with the really small tip that looks like its a gel pen it makes my work look so much neater

I usually use mechanical pencils. Not much of a pen connoisseur, I'll use anything if the ink flows nicely

No brand, just a simple pen and 100 ink cartridges in addition were enough for my whole school career. And I have just used a bit more than a half of these cartridges!

I really like the 'bic cryatal soft' and the 'Parker- floating ball 0.8mm'

Hi @wrinkled-sorbet,

What a great question! 😊

I’m all about pink pens, and since pink is one of Oxford Brookes’ colours, it feels like the perfect choice while I’m writing from here!

My favourite pen has to be the classic Bic ballpoint because of its smooth writing, reliability, and long-lasting ink.

What about you? Do you have a favourite pen?

Best wishes,

I currently own a fine-nibbed Parker fountain pen, which must be the smoothest writing experience I've had. There are definitely better fountain picks, but this so far has been the best one)

Yeah bic seems so be a great brand overall in terms of reliability! Although i havent tried many pens, I personally use the zebra z-grip smooth. Seems to be the best all-rounder for me.
I just use the bic 4 colour pens. Useful cos I often use the green and red for noting separate things, and blue and black double the lifespan of the pen effectively. They're pretty cheap and quite comfortable to use for the ones with the kinda gel-y outer bit.

Parker, but honestly the best pens are uniball and Ohto gel pens
