He could be really friendly, maybe he is gay? the amount of times I thought someone was flirting but they just turned out to be very friendly and gay. If he's not, maybe he likes you but that depends on if he is the same with other girls or not..

Sounds like it, you could always talk to his friends or try flirting a little to test the waters? But you probably wouldn't want to rush into anything either. Just keep an open mind if you want to date him as it could go either way.
