Seeking Advice on Transferring univeristy is it too late?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently enrolled in the BA (Hons) Photography course at the University of East London (UEL) and am considering transferring to Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) to continue the same course.

I'm seeking guidance on several aspects of the transfer process:

Transfer Process:
What steps do I need to take to initiate a transfer from UEL to CCCU?
Is it a complicated process?
Eligibility and Requirements:
Can I transfer into the second year at CCCU?
What grades or credits are required for the transfer?
Do I need to have completed 120 credits from my first year?
University of East London
Documentation:
What documents will I need to provide to both UEL and CCCU during the transfer process?
Do I need to inform my current university officially, and if so, how should I approach this?
Application Deadlines:
Is it too late to apply for a transfer for the September 2025 intake?
What are the key deadlines I should be aware of?
Accommodation in Canterbury:
How does the cost of private student accommodation in Canterbury compare to London?
Are there affordable options available near CCCU?
I would greatly appreciate any advice or experiences you can share regarding transferring universities, especially for the Photography course at CCCU. Your insights will be invaluable in helping me make an informed decision.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,
max
It’s not too late but you need to get your UCAS application submitted asap.

Tall to your tutor tomorrow about them providing you with a reference.
