Lupton residences single-sex rooms

I’ve applied for a women only flat at lupton and was wondering if it is likely my flatmates will be against me having male visitors. Has anyone who’s lived in an all girls flat at Lupton had any issues with having male visitors and would it be a good idea to change my preference so I don’t cause issues with my flatmates? Id quite like a girls only flat given that it will be a shared bathroom but I’d like for my boyfriend and dad to be able to visit me without disrespecting my flatmates. Thanks!

I think it'll be dependant on your flatmates however there's likely a reason most who apply for girls only accom did so. Sometimes it's religious reasons, sometimes it's discomfort around men for any reason. It might be better to apply to mixed sex if you know you'll have male overnight visitors - they also may not allow male visitors!
