maths question

hi please could i have help on this question? shouldn't the critical region be x<=0 not 1? when i worked out the values, i got the same as in the ms but only the value for 0 is less than 0.025, not sure what the ms is saying?
Thank you!

Its somewhat vague about which value should be selected for discrete random variables. Here <=1 is justified because 0.0338 is closer to 0.025 than 0.0052 is. Id check your exam board to see whether they usually ask about "closest" or "strictly less than".

The 0.05 test value is somewhat finger in the air (why not 0.07 here which would give <=1) so its just something to learn which your exam board wants and not be too fixated on a strict inequality.
