Status of paper application

Hello

How do I check the status of my paper application? I posted it on Tuesday and want to know if it was received.

I did send it recorded but I can’t find my receipt to check

Hi Dan,

It takes 12 working days as an estimated timescale at the moment for applications to be processed from when we receive them.

If you keep an eye on your account you'll be updated once it's processed. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/sfe-current-application-timescales

Does this mean that it’ll show as not processed until then? Or will it show as received when it is received by you?

hi there, once that application has been data entered this will show on the online account. This will still show as awaiting review. Once updated and the application has been validated, this will update and an award notification will be issued to your online account inbox once completed. Thanks, Stephen.
