Loreal degree apprenticeship

Hi! I'm contemplating to do a degree apprenticeship at Loreal most likely in London or potentially in America.
I am currently in year 12 and hope to finish college in 2026 with the idea of business management, marketing ,aspects of creativity like fashion ,designing etc further on my path to a career

1.When do applications begin to open for the apprenticeships?
2.Is a degree apprenticeship worth it ?
3.I have some relatives in America, however do you think doing a degree apprentice ship abroad would benefit more or how have you experienced school and regular lifestyle there.

Lastly, I would love to hear any more tips and tricks !
Thanks

Hey @lauriel07,

It's great that you are doing research on your options after school.

Answer to Question 1: every company has their own application windows, so you will need to check their websites regularly for updates. It is common for firms to start their application season around September but again this is just a trend, exact dates are subject to every company's choice.

Question 2: depends on the apprenticeship. Apprenticeships as a whole a great because you get to avoid the tuition fees but get the same education, and on top of that you gain practical experience alongside your studies. So, when you finish your apprenticeship you will have years of experience, while university graduates will have a few weeks of experience at best.

The key thing to do some research on is your field of apprenticeships. Do apprentices at Loreal have good career outcomes? The best way to figure this out and look on LinkedIn for people who have already finished their Loreal Apprenticeship and where they are in their career now. It would be even better if you sent them a private message, letting them know you are currently a student and looking for some advice. Most people are friendly and would gladly let you know what their experience was.

Question 3: Not too sure about this one, again it would be great if you asked people directly on LinkedIn for their experience. I would assume that it is more up to your preference, if you want a new experience in a different country, and whether you plan on working abroad in the future.

I hope this helps, and good luck with your applications! Apply for more than one apprenticeship if you can. Don't put all your eggs in one basket unless you are adamant you don't want to work anywhere else.
