What apps do you use to stay productive or relax between study sessions?

Hi everyone! 👋

Lately, I’ve been trying to get better at managing my study time and also find ways to unwind during short breaks. I’ve tried some popular apps like Notion, Forest, and Tide, but I’m always on the lookout for new ones especially those that aren’t always featured on Google Play.

I actually came across a few interesting productivity and study-related apps through a site called https://heyapks.com/ it’s handy for finding Android apps that aren’t always available in your region or on the Play Store.

So I was wondering:

What apps do you use for note-taking, planning, or learning?

Any good apps to relax or play light games during breaks?

Have you ever found a “hidden gem” app that really helped with your student life?

Would love to hear your suggestions always open to trying something new! 😊📱

Hi @meme001,

I use an app called "FocusPomo" which is an app I use whenever I'm writing my assignment or doing some revision. It helps me stay focus and on track without feeling burnt out. Pomodoro is a good rhythmic approach to doing any type of work for longer periods of time. I have it set up in a way where I do work for 45 minutes straight, and have a 5 or 10 minute break in between (all these times are customisable, according to what works for you).

I've found that this works wonders for me, it's also really nice that the app has a cute interface and makes it fun to interact with. These are some pros I've read about the Pomodoro Technique:
Increased Focus and Productivity:
By breaking tasks into focused intervals, the Pomodoro Technique can help improve concentration and increase output within a specified timeframe.
Reduced Procrastination:
The structured approach encourages completing tasks in smaller, more manageable chunks, which can help prevent procrastination.
Improved Work-Life Balance:
The technique allows for built-in breaks, promoting better work-life balance and preventing burnout.
Adaptable to Different Tasks:
The core idea of focused intervals can be applied to various tasks, though the specific intervals might need adjustment.
Suitable for Individuals with ADHD:
The Pomodoro Technique can be particularly helpful for individuals with ADHD, as it provides structure and helps with maintaining focus.

Hope this helps,
Danish
