NCA ODP 2024 - Rejected After Assessment Centre That Was “Not Pass or Fail”?

Hi all,

My wife and I applied for the NCA ODP in Jan 2024. We passed the sift and interviews and were invited to the Assessment Centre on 16 July 2024. We were told this stage wasn’t pass or fail but would assess which role suited us best – Intelligence Officer, Analyst, or Investigator – with offers or reserve list depending on availability.

After following up five times with no clear update, we both received a rejection email on 5 May 2025 saying we were unsuccessful. This felt misleading, considering what was said throughout the process.

I also requested reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act 2010, which were confirmed but not provided on the day.

Has anyone else had the same outcome or experience? Would appreciate hearing from others.
