im pretty sure she hasnt

Reply 163

Never mind she is under theme 3 (challenges to the objectivity and authenticity of religious exp) that came up on 2019. But that topic hasn’t appeared since 2019 so could come up

Reply 164

i have done 0 revision (like genuinely none, you’re welcome x) does anyone have any recommendations of what to revise ? like maybe ~10 topics i can speedrun tonight and tomorrow ?

Ontological, teleological, maybe some problem of evil, challenges to religious experience (esp. Caroline frank Davis), challenges to verification and falsification principle but also just sections a,b,c of theme 4.

I’m terrified for philosophy, all my best topics are in Theme 1 and 2. am i cooked or do i have time to go over 3 and 4. but how the hell do i cram that much by tomorrow. please help im having a breakdown 😝

Reply 167

No you have plenty of time, do some work on the challenges to religious experience now, then spend a few hours in the morning on religious language sections a,b,c - i think they’ll ask theme 1 in section A tomorrow so at least you’re prepped for half of the paper already

If the question is on a criticism like the ontological argument, would I first explain explain what the arguments are then do all the criticisms?

I'm not understanding this question because the ontological argument is not a criticism.

I think if they are looking for the criticism they will specifically ask you to refer to Kant

Reply 172

Don’t worry, I was just overthinking it.

They're trying to say 'if the Q was on the criticisms of the Ontological argument (Gaunilo and Kant) would I first explain the ontological arg'

In that case yes, but it should be brief.

All I know is I have to do well in philosophy cuz in Christianity I did awful, didn’t revise so ended up writing the lyrics to Hamilton instead 😔
