Univeristy of Leeds missed graduation deadline
Hi guys so my graduation deadline opened on the 28th april-16th may
This was when i was finishing my dissertation, had 5 exams, and 3 essays to do....
Thus, i missed this deadline as i went to apply tonight asfter finishing my final exam to realise the deadline shut on the 16th may
It does say you can email them close to the deadline explaining why you missed it and you will most likely get a seat.
My graduation is on the 16th July and now me and my family are extremely worried we wont be able to go what do you guys think?

I have got no answer but I'm from Uni of Leeds and I missed it too 🤣. Hoping they can appeal to my request for late application

This is so disappointing for you after all your hard work and the busy few weeks you've had leading up to the graduation confirmation. Have you tried speaking to the department in the university that is responsible for the graduation organisation? It may be too late but it is worth asking if you could be included, if you stress that you were preoccupied with all of the pieces of work and exams that you were working on?
I've just had a look on the university of Leeds graduation page: https://students.leeds.ac.uk/graduation and it seems that there are a few alternative options. Have you seen if any of these alternatives would be possible for you? Perhaps you could have a later ceremony date? I'm not sure when you have to make these selections by, but you should definitely contact the graduation office to see if anything could be done.
