Pre-settled status and maintenance loan + household income assessment and scholarship

I have pre-settled status but I have been living in the UK for over 3 years. I have been classed as a home student, but it says I don't qualify for a maintenance loan until I get settled--which is going to happen about halfway through first year--and to apply for tuition-only by post. I received a scholarship, however, and I qualify for a bursary, but the uni need a household income assessment by sfe. Can I still apply online and just specify that I want 0 maintenance loan? How can I get this household assessment? And how do I go about getting a maintenance loan halfway through first year? Do I start a whole new application?

I read something about working while studying--if it helps, my parent has been working here for over 3 years and I will be working in uni--is that grounds for getting maintenance? I'm getting mixed results when I try to find out.

I appreciate any help or guidance, thank you.

Hi there,

You need to have settled status in the UK to qualify as a home student unless you are applying as a Migrant Worker.

I've enclosed details below on eligibility and how to apply:

Thanks, Jason
