covid + alevels

Does anyone have any advice on what to do? I’ve got 2 exams next week (Tuesday+Wednesday I’m pretty sure) but tested positive for covid today and feel very unwell with it, I haven’t been able to revise or do anything for 4 days now and it just seems to be getting worse, now I feel super behind for my exams next week and I know I won’t be able to do as well as I need to for my firm offer.

Hey Lola,

I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so unwell, that sounds really tough especially with exams coming up :frown:. I'd definitely making your school aware as soon as you can - explain how you're feeling and that you've tested positive for COVID. I'm not entirely sure how the system works in England, but your school should be able to keep a record of this and advise on whether there's a personal circumstances/special consideration process that could help you out!

Even if you’re not sure what help is available, just keeping your school in the loop is the best first step- they’ll be able to guide you on what to do next. Hope you start to feel better soon and things get a bit less stressful! (:

Take a covid test and then talk to your school.

There are all the usual processes for those missing exams or claiming extenuating circumstances due to illness, but you also need to know if you have covid or not - and so does everyone else taking exams.
