GCSE English Edexcel -writing in the wrong section of the exam paper

In one of my GCSE exams, I wrote a small section of my answer to the poetry anthology section in the page before the assigned space. Do the questions in Edexcel literature exam questions get marked separately in such a way that previous sections, apart from the assigned section from out answer be inaccessible to the examiner because i did leave a note on the paper to inform the examiner of this

The examiner never sees your actual exam paper - it's scanned into a computer and they only receive the assigned writing spaces. The rest of the question will be marked as normal but the examiner won't see what you wrote outside the assigned space. Hope this helps!! Best of luck

Do you know if they receive the rest of the page? Like if you wrote a line below the assigned lines would they see that?

Nope, the computer only scans the assigned writing space, and the examiner will never see the rest of the page.
