Student finance needs ID

Im currently going theough my application for Student Finance, and it has asked for passport proof.

My problem is I recently changed my name via deed poll. And I am yet to renew my passport with this name. Im worried ill run out of time to apply if I wait for a new passport to arrive. My course starts in september.

I am logged into my Uni account with my new name, and im also logged into stufent finance with my new name I just dont have the ID to back it up yet.

Hi there, are you a UK national and do you have a UK birth certificate? If so, you can upload this as evidence to your account. If you've changed your name then once you have the evidence you can also upload evidence of this along with a cover letter asking for your name to be changed from X to Y. Thanks, Jason
