How do you actually apply for/ get a degree apprenticeship?

Hi, I know this sounds a little odd but how do you actually go about applying for a degree apprenticeship? I'd like to do finance so if anyone had any suggestions on which places offer degree apprenticeships etc. that would be really appreciated! Thank you

Hi @VaBook7!

Applying for degree apprenticeships is a bit like applying for a job. You usually go directly through the employer rather than UCAS. Most degree apprenticeships are listed on company career sites, gov.uk's find an apprenticeship service. Some big finance firms like Deloitte, PwC, and Lloyds offer apprenticeships and they usually open applications quite early. I'd recommend keeping a list of companies you're interested in and checking their career pages regularly. Maybe check out this website which has more information on degree apprenticeships: https://www.mmu.ac.uk/study/apprenticeships/apprentices/how-to-apply

Hope that helps and good luck! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey! I applied for apprenticeships this year and may be taking a gap year to reapply. I would recommend going to websites like government website, apprenticewatch and joining apprenticeship focused communities through LinkedIn. focus on creating a good cv and list the finance companies you're interested in. most companies open vacancies from September - hope that helped!
