affordable laptops for sixth form

im thinking of saving up for laptop somewhat soon for sixth form, and I know some ppl say you don’t really need one, however for me im very reliant on online resources for revision and always find myself having not being able to work in school because other students have already occupied the available computers!! I already have an iPad Air but I can’t be bothered to buy an Apple Pencil I also play roblox in my free time and want to be to use adobe AE aswell.
If anyone could put me on to a good computer
that’s fits my requirements I would be glad!!
- storage (128GB-256GB)
- RAM: 8gb
- size: should be small enough to fit inside a handbag.
- budget: £150-£350 (not sure if thats realistic im not into tech 😭)

For 14" laptops, there's deals like this:
HP 840 G8
HP 840's 845's 830's 835's are premium business laptops. They are significantly better engineered than consumer grade laptops.

For a 13" laptop - more portable than a 14" but smaller screen size - there's deals like this:
HP 830 G8

This is a 13.3" laptop with touchscreen and a nice AMD CPU
HP 835 G8

If you get a laptop with an 11th gen intel CPU, make sure it has 2 RAM sticks in it (fine if you buy a HP 840 or 830 G8 with a single 8GB RAM stick as it's cheap and easy to upgrade them to 2 RAM sticks). This is for better graphics performance.

Your budget is highly sensible. For your needs it would be a waste of money to spend more than £250 on a laptop. As you won't get anything better built than those HP premium laptops. And the HP G8 laptops would be lightning fast for what you'll be using them for.

Facebook marketplace also has some great deals on used premium business laptops.
Everywhere else that sells laptops is over-priced.
