Help - clearing 2025

to get to the point I have found a new course that is quite competitive and not many go into clearing but I still want to try just in case. though I have an unconditional offer somewhere already BUT thats not the point!
basically im going on holiday but due to miscommunication I found out im LANDING in england 1pm on results day which is far too late to make any calls.
MY QUESTIONS!!!!
- am I allowed to ask someone else to get my grades and call the universities at around 8am? am I allowed to tell them (the proxy) to tell the unis that I will call the moment I land in england (or when I get home so at the latest 2-3pm)
- im planning to send an email to the universities im hoping to call on the day of clearing beforehand (like a week before results day) explaining my situation and sending a new personal statement I would have made with my UCAS details and the name of the person I'd like to call
basically can I have someone call to say my grades (and maybe a script I would make for them to say) so that I can call later and still have a chance? 😭😭😭
ahh I really would like to get into this course (im a resit student so I've already wasted a year and don't really want another gap year) tyyy

Someone will be able to grab your grades as i was able to get my friends grades on results day (they couldn't attend), i just had to sign a form before i was handed their results. I would email the college you attend anyway to double check this is definitely possible but it should be okay to do so!
Also definitely email or ring the uni if possible!

Unis won't issue a clearing offer to someone else calling on your behalf.
They also won't have capacity to be reading emails on the evening prior to clearing.
If you definitely don't want to accept your current offer you'd be better off declining it now and applying via Extra, (assuming that the course is open to Extra applications).

oh I wasn't planning to email them the day before ahah im probably on a plane anyway

I was planning to email after exams finish, then again 1 week before results day

andd I wasn't planning for someone else to make an offer on my behalf, more like clarify my identity and tell them my grades so I can be in the back of their mind for when I call myself later in the day but fair enough ahhh im so annoyed with myself for not finding the degree sooner 😭 thank you for the reply!!

Honestly I would just call them when you have your results in hand. Pre-emptive emails and calls aren't going to reserve you a spot.
Very few courses close to clearing midway through results day in any case. 1pm onwards is not too late.
