Airbus aerospace engineering degree apprenticeships

For anyone doing the aerospace engineering degree apprenticeship from airbus, is it mainly to do with aircraft or are there any aspects of spacecraft involved.

Ive no idea however i am familiar with large industrial engineering apprenticeships.

Apprenticeships responsibility are typically a kind if balance between “Early careers HR” & specific working groups (engineering/finance/other business areas…).

I would say most places assign apprentices to a specific team based on business needs (i.e. these teams will basically ask HR for an apprentice then HR will recruit all the apprentices centrally and assign suitable hires), once in a team you will probably work exclusively with that team (it will likely be either a specific sub-system focused on owning a component or system, or a team which manages a process), I would imagine the hiring is done centrally i.e. all the engineering apprentices for both conventional civil aircraft as well as space systems go through one application however you would be unlikely to just move around the business freely you would be expected to work with a home team in one area (they may offer a secondment or two for 6 months or whilst you’re on the apprenticeship to understand the business and where you may want to go, but you would probably be expected to stay with your team for your apprenticeship).

However the best people to ask are Airbus directly, they will be open to emails and respond. The nice thing about being in early careers is typically you have your business area who will be responsible for your technical/job growth but the HR team still are responsible for your journey and will be a place you can go to if you want to work in a very specific area they can help place you there to begin with or help you move.
