Universities don't make offer decision based upon your predicted A level grades alone. They will also look at GCSE grades, A level subjects, your personal statement, your academic reference etc.

As I'm sure you're aware, Loughborough's typical offer for Computer Science BSc (Hons) is AAA; they also mandate that one of your A level subjects be Mathematics and that you have a minimum of 5 GCSE grades 9 - 6 (A*-B) including Maths, plus English Language at grade 4/C. If we set aside the ABB predicted for a moment, so you meet those other requirements?

Loughborough don't publish the predicted grades of those who have received offers, so it's difficult to tell how likely you'd be to receive an offer with your ABB prediction. What I can tell you in that in recent years they've accepted candidates with achieved grades of ABB - but those candidates may have had AAA (or higher) predictions. As long as you include some universities with more modest grade requirements, including one or two with more aspirational grades is perfectly reasonable.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I have got conditional offer on AAA and wanted to know if i don't meet conditional offer criteria, do i still have a chance to get into uni on ABB. I am hoping for better than ABB grade though.

The "Historical entry grades data" section of this UCAS page (screenshots below) would suggest that your chances are good. However, note that what's happened in the past may not happen this year.

Potentially. It may happen but it's not guaranteed.

Loughborough does offer CS at ABB for contextual applicants (in the form of a contextual offer).

They were in clearing last year (I believe but cannot remember if the grade was BBB or slightly higher). However whilst intake numbers have increased, it's not something to bank on this year.

Aim to get the best A'level grades possible, both in terms of predicted and actual grades.
