Uni of Leeds Accommodation Questions

Hi! I firmed Leeds the other day and am waiting for access to the accommodation portal. I've been thinking about which halls I'd like to apply for.
My top choices are Cityside and Central Village. The location is perfect and price isn't too much of an issue. They both seem very similar anyway, but of course CV has much more people there. Is one better than the other?

I've seen different sized rooms at CV, so I don't really know how big my room would be. I think it varies between each block.
For Cityside, it says there are "some premium (slightly larger) rooms" - is this something I would be able to request/put a preference for, or is it completely random? From pictures, it seems Cityside has smaller standard rooms compared to CV, but I'm not very sure.

I don't really mind how sociable the accoms are. I'm autistic, and quite introverted too, so tbh I'm planning on making friends in societies, not just the people in my flat. I've heard CV can be louder/more of a 'party' accom than Cityside, but I don't know how true that is.

How many common rooms are there at CV? Is there one per block? What about the laundry rooms? I'm concerned that at CV, I will struggle to find a time to do my washing. Since Cityside has less people, my logic is that the laundry room will be less busy?

Are the walls thin in CV and Cityside? I'm worried about sound leakage between the rooms. I'm a bit sensitive to noise so I'd rather thicker walls to not hear inside my flatmates' rooms. I also game with friends so I don't want them to hear me either, even though I speak quietly lol.

My most important question! I think both accoms are oversubscribed, so would I be more likely to get CV if I put it as my preference? If I don't get into one, would they try to put me in the other? I'm very concerned I will be put into a different accommodation.

Also - it seems in both accoms that the showerhead is fixed to the wall instead of detachable. It isn't a total dealbreaker, but I find it much easier to use detachable showerheads and was wondering if this is something I could request/if they'd even consider it.

Thank you in advance if anyone sees this. I know these are a lot of questions, it's just a big thing for me.

I applied for leeds and although I went for a different accomodation they do have 'preferences' so you should be able to tell them that you would prefer a quiet room and they will take this into account.
Also I think they should ask what room type you want if the premium rooms are completely different so there hopefully should be an option for this.
Not sure about the shower thing but you could always email the applications office once you submit your application and ask if there is anything they can do. If there is a medical reason for it they may be able to find some way to help.
Honestly I would just say go to the accomodation portal and have a look since you don't have to complete the application all in one go - you can save it and come back to it later.
