moving out
hi, i am moving back home from uni which is about a 2 hour drive and have a lot of stuff. i cannot hire as i dont know anyone that drives and i cannot myself so i am looking for moving services/man and van services who dont charge an extortionate amount? any recommendations?

Hello,
Have you tried doing an internet search using Google or similar for man and van / removal companies in the area? You could find a couple, get some quotes and find one that suits your needs the best. Check their reviews too, and if they have any accreditations with the British firms of removals, also, do they have an advanced payment guarantee? You need to make sure that they are a reputable company!
Have you asked in your university accommodation or student services departments? They might have some suggestions?

thanks for your response. yes i have. im still waiting on some quotes but the ones ive gotten so far vary from £340 to £120. the £120 quote is from anyvan but i have heard mixed reviews so i am unsure what to do and if there are any alternatives.
