Should i retake this year or next year? !!!Help

i’m retaking my levels this year last year I did biology maths and physics. I got a D biology and E in physics and E in maths. I also got a B in my EPQ. I’m not retaking physics this year because I decided that I no longer wanted to go into it but I now realise it was quite stupid as even if I get a stars in my other subjects I’ve also got an E that’s going to drag me down. however I think I might get a B if i’m very lucky or C in biology this year and a D or most likely case and an E maths as I haven’t been studying like I should and I know this is all my fault but I just want to know what I can do from this point onwards. should I completely give up both of my subjects now and retake biology and maths next year in case I fail this year as I have seen that failing your A-level retake twice looks very bad to unis and they may not want to accept you because of this. I plan to apply through clearing this year and hope to get into a biology course through in a foundation year at uni. Is there any chance that I could do a biology course through a foundation year at uni with the grades B or C and biology D or E maths and E in physics and B in epq.

I think it’s too late to back out of exams now, so you will have to take them or skip and be given Us. If it was earlier in the year, I think it would’ve been better to retake again next year to ensure you get better grades, as retaking and not improving won’t look good to the uni’s.

Have a look on UCAS for foundation biology entry requirements and see how you compare.

Apparently if i don’t go this year it won’t be counted as a U it will be counted as a No show so i won’t get a grade from it

i also haven’t applied through ucas so it would be a direct application to a uni through clearing

okay! you should still be able to use it to have a look at course requirements despite not having an account. I believe you will have to submit all results directly to the uni as well, so wont be able to leave out any you’re unhappy with.
