Is A*AAB okay for medicine in top russel group?

Hi all,

I got A*AAB for my mocks for my ucas grades. Would it be enough for top russel group unis like imperial, kings, queen mary, ucl? Ik dropping the B is ideal (it’s in maths) but in case I can’t drop it, am I putting myself at risk? Ik personal statement ucat and interview are still on the line but I mean mainly for grades in case the rest go well.

Please help cos I don’t see anyone talking about applying with 4 alevels!

Won't know until you try  I'd shoot as high as you can and have some insurance choices in case your top two don't work out. If you're smart enough to get those predicted grades, I'm sure you'll make the most out of whatever opportunity you land if you put the work in

I did 4 A levels as well but i can't even remember my predicted grades, just that i got into my uni of choice with AAAB

Thank you! I’m defo more leaning towards ucl and queen mary as my top two, and I think a back up might be aru and I might get rid of kings I’m not too sure yet. I’m also more inclined to get a contextual offer so that’s also something to consider.
If you don’t mind what uni did you get into? And was it for med?
