ACCA - study hours requires

I’ve been offered a trainee account role. The company pay for my ACCA exams. It’s a full time role with a journey. I will be out 11 hours, Monday to Friday.
How many hours will I need to study to pass? Will I have time for hobbies?
I’ve seen very low pass rates and high drop out rates which is concerning me. Are these true?
Weighing up this versus a degree (e.g finance and business, accounting and finance, financial maths or data analytics)

Have you just done a levels - in which case which subjects and what grades? That can give some clues about the challenges of ACCA.

Also - is this an apprenticeship you are looking at or a standard job?

Balancing a full-time trainee role with ACCA studies is challenging but doable. You’ll need around 10–15 study hours per week per paper, especially close to exams. It might leave little time for hobbies during exam season. While pass rates can be low, with discipline and good resources, success is achievable. Compared to a degree, ACCA certification is more specialized and career-focused, especially with employer support, it often leads faster to professional roles. If you’re committed to accountancy, ACCA is a strong, practical route.
