SLC funding for 2nd undergraduate degree

Hi,
I completed my bachelor's degree outside the EU a few years ago and applied for SLC funding to cover tuition for my second undergraduate degree here in the UK. I read that if you've already completed an undergraduate degree, you're normally not eligible for student finance, unless you intend to study a course in medicine, teaching, or certain STEM subjects. Just wondered, has anyone received funding for a second undergraduate degree after studying outside the UK, even if the course wasn’t on the SLC’s list of exception subjects?

Hi there,

If you hold a qualification then you are only eligible for funding for a secondary degree if you're studying an exception course:

I've enclosed a list of these below

Thanks, Jason
