I wanted to know if you can do physiotherapy at a university with a college course of sports coaching, I do level 3 sports coaching and want to do physiotherapy at a university, I also did work experience at a hospital for physiotherapy.

You need to check the entry requirements on the physio course page on uni websites. If it's not clear if your level 3 qualification is accepted, email the uni and ask. For example:

Hey there 👋

My name is Siobhan and I’m a third year physiotherapy student at the University of Central Lancashire. This is a great question and it’s lovely to see that you are interested in the profession!!

I would definitely have a look at UCAS and see the entry requirements of each university you like and if you fall under that category. You could also ring up the universities any ask any questions about these if you are unsure with your level 3 coaching course.

In terms of your personal statement and interview process, it seems as though you’ve got some great experience already with your course and shadowing experience in the hospital. Try and integrate these in your statement and interviews to show that you have a good understanding of the profession and the areas they can work in.
