Accommodation for Imperial After Year 1

Hi,

I'm currently in year 12 and considering applying to Imperial for medicine in October. However, I can't seem to find any affordable accommodation for year 2 onwards (ideally £220 or less) nearby. I was wondering if anyone knew where to look? Otherwise, my parents won't let me apply. D:

London accommodation is hideously expensive (think £450pw) and anywhere in London is expensive but Imperial are quite good and offer students quite affordable accommodation. This is their accommodation page:

This is a site I've been to but it's for 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates, so won't apply to you in 1st year:

You can find private rentals further out, student houses. At this price point they may be quite basic/old/far out (6 bedroom with 1 bathroom) but should be within your £220pw limit.

I would focus on getting an offer first and do your research/look around before making your decision.
