uni of kent ecology and conservation course

hey guys, I'm trying to help my friend in year 12 pick a course for uni and we came across the ecology and conservation course from uni of kent. there aren't any specified subjects i can see on the entry requirements though. she said she saw biology listed as a definite need in the international baccalaureate grade requirements, but does that still count if its not under the alevel ones.

any help is appreciated. even if you have any other suggestions of courses because she really wants a year abroad with animal related subjects but dropped biology early on. thanks in advance!

It’s on the website but it’s a bit out of the way. Here are the requirements:

BBB including one of Biology, Geography, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Psychology, Geology, Physics, Maths or any Joint Science at grade B or above.

Hi,
I hope you are well!😊 Apologies for the delay in getting back to you!
It's great to see that you are looking at the Ecology and Conservation Course here at Kent!😊

Although it makes me a bit biased, I have loved my time here at Kent! I've been able to get involved in some great societies, part-time work opportunities, and panels too! Let me know if you have any questions about student life here!😊
I study Social Science, but the Ecology course sounds super interesting! If you have any specific questions about the course, feel free to ask me and I can pass them on to someone who can help😊

You have had some great advice here already. The requirements are slightly hidden, but you can find all of the requirements on the course page by following these steps🙂

1.

Click here for the course page.

2.

At the top of the page, under 'typical offer' there is a link which says 'view all'. Click this link.

3.

A pop up will appear, and you can choose between the UK and International student toggle at the top.

4.

On the pop up, under 'Additional requirements' you can click the different drop downs and all of the additional requirements are there.

I hope this helps!
Let me know if you have any trouble finding it!😊

Best wishes,
Josie

Thank you! This is such great feedback for us, we appreciate this!😊 We are always on hand as Reps to answer any student queries or worries, and our staff too!😊

As a student I have always found staff in different departments to be supportive and always on hand to help, so it's great to hear you say it too🙂

Best wishes,
