AQA English Literature B NEA poetry help

I need to decide on a poet to do my NEA on but I don't read poetry and I'm really struggling to choose one. Does anyone have any poets and poetry recommendations that are not too difficult to apply the six critical lenses to?

You could study ''The charge of the light brigade'' by Alfred Tennyson it's really easy to analyse

hi! I'm doing my poetry section on poems by Derek Walcott (a Saint Lucian poet) through a post-colonial lens. You might have been told to look at a collection of Sylvia Plath poems (eg Ariel) for feminism. My teacher said you could also look at Seamus Heaney from a post-colonial lens. But if you want more ideas go to Poetry Foundation and they have loads of collection of poems that you can take inspiration from (for example, they have a "feminist collection" and if you particularly like the poet you can look at more of their work through a feminist lens.) Hope this helps!
