Issue with Postgrad Loan Application PDF

I downloaded the Postgraduate Loan Master's Application Form, and started filling it in digitally. However, whenever I try to enter a date, such as my date of birth in 1.1 personal details, date my course begins in 3.1, and passport issue and expiry dates in 4.2, it comes up with the following errors:

Invalid date/time: please ensure that the date/time exists. Field [ Section 1 Your details 1.1 Personal details Date of birth (ddmmyyyy) ] should match format ddmmyyyyy

Invalid date/time: please ensure that the date/time exists. Field [ Section 3 Your postgraduate master’s course 3.1 Give details about the postgraduate master’s course you’ve applied for Start date of the first year of your course (mmyyyy) ] should match format mmyyyyy

Invalid date/time: please ensure that the date/time exists. Field [ Section 3 Your postgraduate master’s course Part A 4.2b Do you have a valid in date UK passport? Yes complete the following exactly as stated on your passport. Date of issue (ddmmyyyy) ] should match format ddmmyyyyy

I have tried filling it in different ways, and opening the form in different browsers but the error keeps recurring.

Can you help?

Hi there, are you trying to apply via your account? You mentioned downloading it but you'd complete this either via your account or send us a paper form. If you are doing this through your account online by clicking on 'start a new application' then I'd advise clearing your browser history and cache and trying this again for you and it should work. Thanks, Jason

Hi Jason, thanks for getting back to me.

I am applying by sending a paper form, but trying to fill out the pdf before printing it off.

I previously started a Master's then took a year out due to illness. I am now applying for another Master's. I couldn't apply online (as I had previously received a Master's loan) so rang up student finance, and they emailed me the application form PDF and supporting notes.

I am attempting to fill out the form digitally, which it appears the form was designed for. I'm not sure if I am allowed to fill it out by hand, or if it is acceptable to fill most of it out digitally then write the dates in once I have printed it off.

Thanks for your response.

I would advise completing the full form in ink and then sending off to us via post. Just to also confirm if you've previously studied a masters course and are applying again you would also need to send CPR: Compelling Personal Reasons evidence as to why you were unable to complete the last course. Just incase this wasn't explained over the phone I've enclosed further information below
