Peel park campus room changes

I’ve gotten a room in peel park campus for September however I’ve been put in a single sex flat despite me requesting mixed.
I think I’d do a lot better in a mixed sex flat and was wondering if anyone has experience swapping rooms? I’ve already payed my deposit before being told my room was single sex, I still can’t find where it says it but I’ve been told by multiple people in my flat that it is single.
Whenever I call campus living villages it says their team are not available even though it’s during opening hours and I sent an email and haven’t received a response in a week

I would recommend getting in touch with the Campus Living Villages team at PPQ again (potentially calling them might be a good way to speak to them directly?) and see if they have any flexibility on swapping you to a different flat - if its something that's going to change your student experience then its always worth chasing it!
