Will Cambridge know that i am a reapplicant??

I am an international student and got pool rejection last year. I am now in my gap year and planning to reapply this October.

My academic achievements:
4A*in math, FM, Phy & Chem (finished all four subjects this may&june)

Probably Ss in STEP2&3

Someone on Reddit says that Cambridge won’t know my first application unless I apply to the same college. And i am not so sure about that.

I really appreciate that if anyone could share me with his or her reapplying experiences!!

Even if they know, I doubt they’ll treat you anymore harshly than another gap student. They probably will know but I doubt it makes a huge difference.

Cambridge don't track whether you are a reapplicant, not even for the same college. The issue with applying to the same college is that the same people will be looking at your application so they may happen to remember you.

They could track reapplicants if they wanted to, but they don't see any need to and would rather look at each application with fresh eyes.
