Leeds uni accommodation pls help

I’m so stuck deciding between James baillie central village and Charles morris for my preference, I can’t decide because apparently cv is not social at all James baillie is ages away and Charles morris has a rep for posh people? Trying to decide which of these is least important pls help!

I’ve heard that James Baillie has good transport links like buses, I personally picked there, because I really don’t think a 20 minute walk to campus is that bad. But some people think it is! I feel like that’s a much less important factor personally!

Central village is extremely close to the edge and campus, a 4 minute walk. The residence is usually quiet and there’s lots of facilities around it e.g Tesco, Cafenero, Gym. James Bailie is quite far depending on ur building for example, for the med building its almost 30 minutes of walking but it is a really nice accommodation, smaller than cv in size but cozy. It has a park near it too. Charles Morris is on campus and is usually catered. A great accommodation for those who are too busy to cook.

I’ve decided I think the walk would be ok and there’s buses I’m pretty sure I’m just worried about like shopping and walking home at night but I think it would be fine

hey I've just finished my first year staying in Charles morris! I would defo recommend, I was self catered and had no issues all year. in my block it was v social as all the flats on each floor are on one corridor- if you don't get on with your flat its really easy to make friends with others on your floor. the posh stereotype is true but there was a mix and everyone I met was lovely (from a working class background) don't let it put you off as I had a really good year! hope this helps and if you have any other questions lmk
