Phone the school and ask to talk to the Exams Office.
If they don't give you a sensible answer, talk to the Head of Sixth.
Then the Headteacher.

Hi, have done all that, they said I have to wait till results day to see what the exam body decide. I just wondered if anyone had been in a similar situation?

I'm afraid you're at the mercy of the exam board now. Best case scenario, they let you retake the exam or calculate your grade based on other assessments in that subject. Worse case scenario, you fail the subject and have to retake it next year if you want a grade.
