Help me choose between sociology and managment

I've changed my perspective on what I want from my degree and am now thinking about pursuing a sociology instead of a management. Although I don't have any super-curriculars for sociology yet and I'm doing business studies, sociology and psychology - I'm worried that business studies will make my application worse. For context I'm predicted all A*s.

When you look at entry requirements for sociology degrees, you will probably find that very few unis require specific A level subjects so business studies won't be detrimental to your application. Book some uni open days and go and listen to the course talks for both sociology and business management, and talk to staff and students. It will help you decide.

Would I be able to get into the human, social and political science degree at Cambridge with my A levels?

Cambridge considers business studies to be a 'less helpful' A level. Otherwise:

We don't ask for any specific subjects to apply to Human, Social, and Political Sciences. We recommend these subjects for a strong application:

English (language or literature)
History
Languages (ancient or modern)

What HSPS students have studied

Most HSPS students (who had studied A levels and started at Cambridge in 2018, 2019 and 2023) achieved at least A*A*A (69% of entrants).

Most had studied at least one of the subjects recommended above.

The rest had usually taken at least one of:

Classical Civilisation, Further Mathematics, Geography, Politics, Law, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Religious Studies, sciences (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) or Sociology.
Economics
Government & Politics
Mathematics

While your A-level subjects aren't ideal, you could still give Cambridge a go as the application process takes interviews, admission assessments, etc. into consideration. You will still have four options left to apply elsewhere.

Thx for being so helpful, do you know of any other courses that in a similar way explore society and politics but also have the prestige and employability of this course?
