Which laptop ?

Hi,
Im going to be studying BSc geography at Durham University (🤞) and i was wondering if any students or anyone doing a similar course could recommend whether i should get an ipad, or a laptop and if so recommendations please!

Definitely not an iPad. You will need a fairly up-to-date laptop as you'll be accessing geospatial software/systems. For maximum compatibility reasons you should probably get Windows OS.

You can also contact the Geography or IT department to ask for specific requirements for uour course.

My friend studied geography and used an Apple macbook and would recommend. ☺️ You should be good with any up-to-date laptop though.
