Child Nursing Greenwich not on SFE

I've been offered a spot on the course BSc (Hons) Children’s Nursing course (B720) starting in September 2025 at the University of Greenwich. However the course doesn't appear on SFE.

I need to make my Student Finance England application. I'm unsure if it has a different course code number or name.

I've contacted SFE and they've forwarded me to the University. I was asked to contact the email address, [email protected], twice I've had no response.

Can anyone please provide some guidance on what I could do. Appreciate the help. Thank you :smile:

Phone the university on Monday and ask to be put through to the student finance team. Ask them to ensure that the course has been submitted to the SFE database.

Hi there, as Normaw has advised, it would be best to check this course has been registered on the Course Management database by the university. You can also ask them to provide the SLC course code that will help us locate the course also. Once updated on the database, you will be able to select this from the application screen. If you require assistance with account queries, you would need to contact us either over the phone or via live chat, as we do not have account access via social media portals. To access our live chat service from your online account, select 'undergraduate' and then ‘contact us’. From here you will be able to use our live chat service when it is available. I called them and they said there was no phone number for them to put me through to and I will have to wait for the Greenwich student finance team to reply to my email. Its been 2 weeks and I've emailed them twice. I am unsure on what to do next :frown:

On SFE I do see the option " Nursing (All forms of)(APR)(AH)(SFE Funded) " so I don't know if I should just select a random one? But it doesn't specifically say Child Nursing

I would advise you to select the option you are seeing as it says 'All forms of' nursing. This will enable you to submit your SFE application so that it can be processed. When you do get a response from Greenwich and if the course is different to the one you selected, then you can easily change the course at a later date in your SFE account.

Hi there, If you do require to make changes after submitting the application, the guide provided in this link will show you how to change this via the online account: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/student-finance-england-how-to-guide
It is option 4 under the contents section for 'Applies to England'. This will show you how to make the required change needed.
Once submitted the online request is currently taking an estimated 12 working days for review at present. Thanks, Stephen.
