Should i join kcl accom waitlist?

no accoms are available and the portal and it says if i join the waitlist, i can be prioritised for rooms that become available. im on kaas so have got a deadline to work against but does anyone know if priority means they'll just assign u whatever becomes available? Id rather wait it out before the deadline and get smth i prefer.

once u apply and are accepted for KAAS u have a one week deadline to get an accom. as far as ik theres no deadline for applying to kaas but the sooner the better cause they have limited availability

so i joined the waitlist a couple days ago and they emailed confirming i joined the waitlist and mentioned the issue of having no rooms. they wrote they'll put on hold the removal of kaas if no booking within a week is due to the no rooms issue, and they'd reactivate it once rooms become available. also i emailed them asking what will the waitlist do and they said they'll email when rooms become available, but also they cant guarantee personal prefernce cause its out of the remaining rooms and we'll not have a chance to change the room provided. - from what i can tell i dont think this means they assign us, they just let us know if anythings available but its gonna be out of only a few options (?)
