Special considerations gcse

Hi this has never happened to me before my eyes in pain it's swollen red looks like a rly bad eye infection feels horrible this is definitely gonna be impacting my exam performance I'm finding it hard to revise. I emailed an exam officer my head of Yr I'm gonna go doctors but I feel like it's wasting my time.

1% or 2% is what I'd be eligible for n only for a few days n althoihht I'm in pain idk if it would be worth the hassle to get a doctors note cuz it's only a few marks. What would y'all say

If your final mark ends-up being 1 or 2% below the next grade boundary, meaning that if you'd applied for special consideration you'd have been one grade higher, what would think about the "hassle" of getting a doctor's note? If that potential lost grade wouldn't bother you, then there's no need to bother getting a doctor's note and having your school use it to apply for special consideration. If, however, that would bother you, then it would be worth the effort.
