Geography and Economics degree - A Level subjects query

Hi! I am currently in year 12 studying History, Economics, Maths and Further Maths (4A*s predicted) and I really want to apply for Geography and Economics at the LSE and UCL. I don’t study Geography at A-Level, though and I was worried that my application may be disadvantaged because of that. I am exploring lots of human geography outside of school, through reading and research.

My GCSE grades are 9999999999AA (As are in Add Maths and AS Religious Studies, which I did in Year 11), but my major concern is not having Geography. UCL don’t mind either Geography or History, but LSE is the main concern. Any advice? Can I still make a competitive application?

I genuinely think you will be fine, most universities do not mind a levels that aren't directly related as long as the grades achieved are sufficient, make sure your personal statement reflects the achievements you have made for geography outside of school, you may also be able to pick up minor qualifications from external companies to prove your dedication,

Id suggest looking on LSE website and seeing whether they require Geography as an A-level and if so potentially reaching out to their recruitment team and have a discussion on how you can work around it,

Whatever happens you will be okay, you can change most university courses even after admittance and universities do understand you made these subject choices around 15/16 and that interests and long term goals can change and manifest in that time, Just focus on keeping those grades up and doing some research on a good personal statement
