Niqab at university

Hello,
So I have a question regarding wearing the niqab at uni and working as a student ambassador.
My firm choice is Uni of Reading, and I have already confirmed that I can wear the niqab full time for my course, but I was wondering if student ambassadors can wear the niqab at Reading uni?
I was a representative for my school during some events and open evenings etc and really liked it so I would like to work as a student ambassador while at uni.

I would say ask your represenative! I assume the uni would be inclusive x

It's great to hear you are thinking of studying at the university and becoming a student ambassador.

Student ambassadors are allowed to dress as they like but wear a red t-shirt over their clothes, so I think you would be able to wear your niqab as it would be discriminatory if the staff said no. I hope this answer helps; you can also check by using the ask a question form, which is sent to the staff at the University of Reading, who can answer your question.
