Help with PIP and SFE

Hi,

I was not aware about the special student loan and have been a recipient of PIP for two months now, would I still be eligible given that I applied during the academic year and was also awarded during the academic year? And if so, how would the process work? When would I get paid?

Hi there, we would advise to upload a copy of the full PIP letter for to assess for the Special Support loan. Once uploaded, the documents will be reviewed by the assessment team, these are currently taking 12 working days for review and we will work out if you can get any additional Maintenance Loan. If you can we'll contact you to let you know. Stephen

And how much is the actual amount if I’m on a MAX student loan living in London and estranged? I’m hearing different amounts? Would it also be one lump sum payment since this academic year payments have all been finalised?
