Any recommendations which next path to choose

I am doing Diploma in Immersive design completing end of the year. I am evaluating between BA in Games Development vs Film and Production. I am not good in illustration , average on Animation and totally not good in writing without ChatGPT helps. If you can give ideas which one of the Degree gives better job opportunities that will be good for me.
Hi OP - neither of these degrees are known for having particularly easy career paths! Not to say there aren't career options out of them, but will certainly be an uphill battle and I wouldn't expect to have a career in the games or film industry straight out of uni - you generally have to work very hard and be exceptionally independently driven to succeed in those industries.

What university are you hoping to study at? (As that will affect the course content etc.) I would expect a games development course would have a programming element - how's your familiarity with that? Are there any other courses you've looked into? Do you have other subject interests?

Hey @czakariya!

Some great advice from aspalax! It might also be worthwhile to ask yourself which industry you'd prefer to be in long-term - although games development and film production have some cross-over skills, they do have different career trajectories. Do you feel more passionate about games or films; what elements/modules of your current diploma did you perform strongest in?

Definitely look at the individual modules of both BA courses to see what's being taught throughout each course and decide whether or not they align with what you want to learn.

Hope this was helpful and best of luck with your decision!
