Met Police assessment invite

I got a scheduled offline assessment for the Met Police PCDA coming up this Friday. Does anyone have any suggested outfits or a dress code for the interview? (I'm just thinking to wear a suit and look neat as possible)

Police job interviews are competency based. Your appearance, unless it is utterly bizarre or offensive, will not form any part of any decision making. Whether you wear a polo shirt or a Huntsman suit, it won't make any difference.

It doesn't hurt to turn out smartly, but also be aware that your own comfort is going to be an important factor. If you have a shirt that buttons a little tight around the neck, or something else that makes you otherwise self-concious, go with comfort every time (in these circumstances).

If you're male, a shirt and trousers, shoes that aren't trainers will be more than adequate. Bring a tie and keep it in your pocket, only wear it if it actively makes you feel better.

If you are female, I would advise against a skirt or dress if there is going to be any element of roleplaying. Trousers and a shirt or top, and flat shoes will be absolutely fine.

I'm afraid not. Aside from anything else, the Met assessments have probably changed 10 times since I joined.
