Is it too late to find a room? The one my uni offered is REALLY expensive

Hi I just got an offer for accommodation from my uni and it’s really expensive (9k for 42 weeks), is it too late to start looking privately? And if so how/where can I start? Thank you

also I’ll be staying in Bristol

technically its not too late to start looking for a place. I'm starting my 2nd year at uni in september and I just signed a lease even though its the norm for people to sign back in december. I wouldn't decline the offer from bristol just in case, however, icl u probably wont find anything remarkably better than what they are offering.
