Can I still enter Exeter if I don’t meet my conditional offer

So I have an offer from the Uni of Exeter for engineering and management, but I’m not doing A Levels I’m doing a University Foundation Programme, and the offer I got was 65% or higher in further maths and 60% and higher in 2 other sciences( further computing and physics), but I’m afraid I’ll be getting around 62% in maths and 55-60% in physics and 98% in computing, I’m really worried about not meeting my offer and having to go to another university other than Exeter.

I don't know but the people to ask are Exeter admissions department. Also, are there any extenuating circumstances why your marks are lower? Good luck!

Thanks. I don’t really have any extenuating circumstances I just struggled with some parts of the course. I’ll still reach out to Exeter admissions and hope they might consider how close I am to the conditions.

Entry requirements always have some flexibility come results day and, as always, you may be underestimating your performance, so until then, just hope for the best (but always be prepared for bad news)

Hi Hamzaiscar

If you have studied your foundation at INTO Exeter then I would suggest reaching out to the progression team there to discuss your concerns and perhaps alternative course options with them.

Unfortunately at this stage it is a waiting game and if your results are a near miss then there is a chance that will be reviewed at faculty level to see if you might still be accepted.

As Foundation courses are not standardised and quite often tailored to progression at the University where you have studied there's no guarantee they will be accepted at another university (although many do) so you might like to start considering alternative courses that you could apply to in clearing.

Please note the above information is just a general suggestion and if you have studied at Exeter/INTO I have no way to know your admissions status or foundation results.
