Reapplying for sfe after withdrawing

So I started a foundation year course in October 2024, which I was withdrawn from due to medical reasons that made me unable to complete the course.
I now want to start education again, and have applied for a level 4 certificate. The expected start date is 30/6/25. I’ve tried to apply using the sfe portal but it says I need to complete & post a PN1 form.
I’ve spoken to SFE advisors who’ve both said I need to wait for a few days and then I should be able to apply again online for 24/25, but I’ve waited a week and nothing has changed with the portal, I still can’t apply for 24/25.
Is my only option at this stage to post the form to SFE?

Hi there, after withdrawing from a course we will require the new student application (PN1) for the new course to be completed. Students who have withdrawn previously can normally apply for theis via their online account after the withdrawal has been finalised. If however, when trying to apply online for the new course, the system advises to complete the pN! and post this, I would advise to do this. If you require the PN1 form, this can be found here: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-forms
Thanks, Stephen.

Thank you for your reply!
Am I right in thinking I need to apply under 24/25 for a 30/6/25 start date? The uni keep telling me to apply under 25/26?

Hi again, 25/26 applications start from September 1st, so you are correct, this will be the 24/25 PN1 form. Thanks, Stephen.
